Nabisco 100 calorie packs - Oreos vs. Chips Ahoy
I'd much prefer to eat 20 cookies, than 2 cookies. But since that's not really the best path for weight loss, I've been opting for Nabisco's 100 calorie packs instead. Of course, these cookies aren't any bigger than the size of a quarter, but at least I can fool my brain into thinking I'm eating more when there's a frequent hand-to-mouth motion!
Nabisco makes several sweet and savory varieties of the 100-calorie packs, including the new Peanut Butter Cookie Crisps, but I’ve only tried the Oreos and Chips Ahoy versions. Oreos win, hands down. I must say, they aren’t technically Oreos since they’re sans cream, but they still have a strong chocolate flavor which really helps satisfy a chocolate craving. On the other hand, the Chips Ahoy cookies, tasted like sugared cardboard. After eating the Chips Ahoy snacks, I wanted more. Not more of the Chips Ahoy cookies however, but more of something else…something sweet and chocolaty.
Some people think 100-calorie packs are a waste of money when you can simply purchase a bag of bite-sized cookies and divide them up into smaller containers yourself. This is a valid point and if you have the time and desire to do this, go for it and save yourself about $3 (which is roughly what a box of 6 snack packs will cost you). However, every time I open the airtight seal on one of these shiny packaged snacks, I feel like I’m actually treating myself and am much more likely to be satisfied with less.
Now if they can only find a way to fit turkey and dressing into 100-calorie packs, we’d be all set for the holidays!

I've had the graham cracker ones and they were simply wonderful.
