FFYFC Week 4
Now that we are in the habit zone, let's make this week count.
Week 4’s goals:
Team Beginner:
This week you'll walk a total of 1.25 miles or 25 minutes, three - four days.
Increase from last week: +.25 miles or +5 minutes, optionally add 1 more walk time
Team Intermediate:
This week you'll walk a total of 1.75 miles or 32 minutes, four - five days.
Increase from last week: +.25 miles or +2 minutes, optionally add 1 more day
Team Advanced:
This week you'll walk a total of 2.5 miles or 43 minutes, four - five days.
Increase from last week: +.25 miles or +4 minutes, optionally add 1 more day
*5 minute warm up & cool down not included in total walk time. Track yourself by either miles walked or minutes done.
Weight loss goal: 1lb
Tell us these five things:

3. Declare that you will lose 1lb this week
4. Total walks you did last week
5. lbs, if any, lost last week
Week 4's check in post will be up by Monday night. For the sake of a fairly large group, all 5 questions are posted for the duration of the challenge.

ps must be doing something right s my aunt told me she could notice that I had lost weight since we saw each other at christmas. yah all the more to try nd reach goal before the next time I go home or to be close to it.........

4. I completed 4 walks last week:
#1, Tues--60 minutes (trails)
#2, Wed--60 minutes (treadmill)
#3, Thurs--60 minutes (trails)
#4, Fri--60 minutes (treadmill)
5. I gained a pound this week. It's funny (not) but it's either:
a.) Muscle weight from all the working out.
b.) Weight from over indulging on the weekends.
c.) Water weight from PMS.
d.) All of the above.
I'm going with D. Normally I'd be upset with my lack of progress, but I feel fine about it becuase I'm working out and I know eventually I'll see some scale-oriented results.

2. I will walk 5 times this week...for 35 minutes a pop.
3. I will lose one pound this week.
4. I only got 3 walks in last week. My treadnill broke on Friday night just as I finished walk #3...it was like 7 degrees on Saturday, so I just wasn't going outside to get my final walk done. But, the good news is...I bought a new elliptical machine on Saturday and did my first walk with it on Sunday. whoo hoo for a new elliptical for me!
5. I lost one pound last week. I had hoped for more...but it is what it is.
I'm jumping into the challenge here. I think I can handle the week four goals for the beginner level, so I'm going to try. I've been off track for a few months (and unfortunately gained back some of the weight that I lost last year), and I'm trying to get back to losing weight again. Looking forward to the challenge!
