MTCloseComments

One of the things the MT upgrade was supposed to tackle was comment spam, lately I've gotten junkified spam, words make no sense, link goes to nowhere. Tonight I got slammed with about 15 hits in 2 minutes. Can't do auto close comments because MT depreciated the feature that it needs, real smart, yet spam is still coming through. I was NOT looking forward to going through 6 months worth of posts and closing them one by one. Luckily MTCloseComments works like a charm, I have it set to close comments older than 5 days and that have had no response in 3, I *may* change that. For now, I'm protected.
